(Katrina) Busse. Cherished grandmother of Melissa, Adrienne, Jeanette (Danny) Hodgkinson, Vanessa; Christine (Michael Lipinski), Bradley, Katelyn; Ariana and Keenan. Devoted great grandmother of Hannah, Gavin and Brian. Dear sister of the late Walter (Gladys), the late Ewald (the late Josey), the late Oliver (the late Lorraine) and the late Evelyn (Ernest “Pinky”). Many nieces and nephews.

Graduate of Concordia University, River Forest and taught at St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights and St. Paul Lutheran School in Mt. Prospect.
She loved quilting, sewing, cross stitching, bowling and bridge. She was a proud homemaker. Our mother was the closest thing to a Proverbs 31 woman this side of heaven.
Visitation Saturday (February 28) 9:00 AM until Services 12 noon at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect.
Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church, Schaumburg, IL or Calvary Chapel of Elk Grove, IL.
